Sometimes the most powerful support is sitting beside someone who understands.”

what we offer

Family support

Charlie & Friends Foundation provides compassionate, whole-family support to those navigating the loss of a baby or child. Our support extends beyond parents to include siblings and grandparents, recognising that grief impacts every member of the family in different ways.

Through a mix of funded therapeutic support, peer connection, and community-based events, the foundation creates safe spaces for families to feel seen, supported, and less alone. This includes initiatives like therapy funding for bereaved siblings, mothers, nanas & aunties event, sibling fun days, and parent connection events, all designed to support healing, connection, and long-term wellbeing.

At its core, Charlie & Friends exists to ensure that no family has to grieve alone.

one to one support

If you’ve found your way here, I’m so sorry you’re part of this club no one ever chooses to join.

Alongside the work we do through Charlie & Friends, I offer one-to-one peer support for bereaved mothers who are navigating life after the loss of their child.

This isn’t clinical support or something you need to prepare for. It’s simply one mum sitting beside another, who understands the depth of this kind of grief.

I can come to you, meet you for a walk, or sit together over a coffee, whatever feels safest and easiest for you. There’s no pressure, no expectations, and no need to explain the unexplainable. You can talk, cry, sit in silence, or share your child’s story.I’m here for all of it. Sometimes what we need most is to be with someone who just gets it & who has walked the same path to help you feel less alone

If you feel ready, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

charlies wings of support

Charlie’s Wings of Support is a dedicated program providing financial assistance for bereaved siblings to access therapy and mental health support.

We understand that when a child dies, siblings often carry silent grief, watching their world change while trying to make sense of something so big. This program helps ease the financial barrier so children can access the support they need, when they need it.

Support is provided through a simple application process, with funding offered via reimbursement for approved therapy services.
